Egypt's 4500 year old capitol has many faces. In this metropolis you can find about everything a modern city has to offer. However Cairo is also overwhelmingly rich of ancient historic sites.

The Pyramids of Giza and Sphinx

The gigantic pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Menkaura, dominate the Giza area, the famous Sphinx laying closeby. What to say about the pyramids? Has not everything been said already... certainly not. The last of the seven wonders of the world still holds its secrets. We will enter the pyramid and stay in the King's chamber at a time, that we can almost centainly be there alone. In this way you can get the most benefit out of this experience. Feel for yourself the mysterious energy of the pyramid. It might even reveal some of its secrets to you.

 

The Step Pyramid of king Djozer at Saqqara is Egypt's oldest standing stone structure. It is part of the vast necropolis of Memphis, the ancient capital. Here we also find the impressive Serapeum of the holy Apis bulls.

In the famous Egyptian Antiquities Museum you'll find the world's largest collection of pharaonic art. From the well known King Tut till small artifacts of daily life in ancient times. The statue of Khafre (Chefren) with Horus the Hawk protecting the king is an indisputable masterpiece. Seeing all this beauty of thousands of years ago makes you wonder how the ancient Egyptian craftsman were able to produce such fine art. Visiting the museum offers a good preparation for the Templetour. You will already get some knowledge about the God Forms and life in the temples.  

To fully experience Egypt, have a bit of a taste of the different religions. Look at the beautiful minarets, hear the call for prayer, see people praying in the street, visit a mosque. You can enjoy the mystic Sufi order when they perform their fascinating music and dance. However there is so much more... the Coptic religion, the oldest form of Christianity (yes, it started in Egypt). Wander through Old Cairo and the Coptic area. We'll visit the Hanging Church that dates back to the 7th. century and the Coptic Museum.

Our aim is to make your stay in Egypt special. More and more interesting places reveal themselves and after we carefully check the place out, they get included in the program. These places remain hidden for the avarage tourist and not without reason. They are still very pure and need to be approached with the utmost respect.
